What is Home Health?

Home Health care is skilled nursing care and therapy services that one can receive at home. Home Health can be utilized for both short and long term conditions, such as recovering from surgery, in need of diabetic care, a decline in function, acute and chronic condition or permanant disability.

The Total Joint Program

The Total Joint Program provided by A StepForward Homecare offers at-home care for you or your loved ones before or after undergoing orthopedic surgery. We are honored to have the confidence of Utah’s top orthopedic surgeons.

Over the past few years, A Step Forward has developed a special program for total hip and knee patients, which has benefited over 1,500 joint replacement patients. A Step Forward’s nurse case manager spent seven years in an orthopedic operating room, another seven years as an orthopedic surgeon’s head nurse, and the past seven years in orthopedic post surgery care.
